Best Mate Dog Training Service Agreement

We are not guaranteeing specific results and outcomes for each programme. There are many variations on what can be accomplished and the trainer can’t always be there to control everything the client or their dog does. The descriptions of the programme are a guideline for what can be accomplished in the specified time, based on what is most frequently accomplished by clients in the same programme.

If anyone in the household is not implementing the training in the way that they have been taught by the trainer, then Best Mate Dog Training reserves the right to limit the programme by voiding the refresher sessions and/or email and phone support at their discretion.

Refresher sessions in the “Off-Lead Adventurer” Dog Training Programme are unlimited in quantity, however the frequency of these is limited to one in-home refresher session per calendar month for the first year from the day of the first training session, and one in-home refresher session every six months thereafter.

The training programme and associated support applies only to the dog the programme was originally purchased for, and cannot be transferred to other dogs in the household. Because the nature of the programme involves training both the owner and the dog, the programme and associated support also cannot be transferred to a new owner if the dog is re-homed.

The location of the “on-location” sessions in the “Off-Lead Adventurer” Dog Training Programme is to be agreed upon by the trainer and the client. We have access to a fenced area to practice off-lead obedience and recall in a safe but distracting location at a boarding kennel in Lincoln. There are conditions that must be met to use this area, including available times, and vaccination history of the dog. Alternatively, training can take place in the local township or at a park. Best Mate Dog Training and trainer/s accept no liability for anything that may occur during the “on-location” sessions, to the client, the client’s dog, or any property or member of the public. If practicing recall in an area that is not fenced, we will use a long line for the safety of the dog and the public.
